In November I bought my ticket for April. As the months passed, I was getting more excited. Hotels were booked, taxi’s were arranged, friends were planning, and then this virus hit. At first, we were all hopeful we could still make the trip, but as the months passed, and the closer we got, the whole world was getting infected. Before we knew it, travel was banned, and Peru closed their border. LATAM airlines issued me a credit, so I will make it. It is just a matter of when.

All blame falls squarely on the shoulders of the Chinese Communist party who was suppressing information about the virus. Chinese Doctors who tried to warn people were reprimanded by the Communist Party, and forced to issue fake apologies. The Party continued their lying by saying that person to person transmission was not happening. It was already happening on a large scale. They then tried to suppress how many cases there were, and in fact it was spreading world wide. They closed domestic air travel to prevent the spread of the infection from the epiccenter of Wuhan to cities in China, but allowed international travel to continue from Wuhan. These seeds of sick people began spreading it world wide. To top it off, they are now launching a propaganda campaign trying to blame the United States. If there is anyone to blame for not being able to surf Peru this year, it is the Chinese Communist Party.

Almost worth getting Covid-19 for, but no. Do my part now, by trying to prevent the spread, the sooner I will be there. Thanks for nothing China.
