Puemape. Love this place. Tom said it best “This place is magical”, and I have to agree completely. We surfed here 3 different days, and each day I caught some of the magic. If you could milk the wave, and get into the bay, you might get a 300 yard wave. A 200 yard wave was pretty common. Both Tom and Jeff had waves over a minute and 15 seconds on video. Especially fun, when the face in front of you was lining up. Seemed everyone got some great ones, and with the smaller crowd, and great waves, this is the place that got most of our surf time. Puemape is still looking deserted, but you see small signs of progress. Now there is another hotel, and a couple more restaurants. Still as beautiful and magical as it has been in the past.
