I returned to Playa Viejo this year. I surfed it twice. I am glad I did. The first time, it was a little crowded, but it was my day, and I caught a lot of waves. It was overhead, so I had some big drops, nice shoulders, and long rides. I caught so many good waves. I also had one of my most amazing experiences with dolphins. You can read about it here. Being the second day of my trip, and my second session in Peru, I thought to myself, this is the way to start a vacation!! Fun Stuff. I returned on my way back to Lima from Cerro Azul. It was smaller, but still some good clean ones. This place is pretty awesome. Great waves, nice atmosphere, and cool people. I am glad I found out about it last year. I wish I had some better video/pictures. The ones I have really do not do it justice.
