When I returned to Lima, I wanted to go back to Punta Roca’s. My cousin picked us up, and drove along the coast to Punta Rocas. We went to Punta Rocas, and I got my ass kicked by the waves. It was overhead, and I was riding a board I had never been on before. Needless to say, I fell more than I did actual surfing. There were some big bombs coming in, and it was alot glassier when we were out there. The restaurant on the beach was great. Good food, and cold beer made it an awesome experience, even though my surfing left a slightly bitter taste in my mouth. I gotta get back there, and catch some of the peelers.
There are many places to surf in Lima, especially to the south. We stopped and checked out 3 spots. Punta Hermosa, Punta Rocas, and San Bartolo. Here are some photos of each….
