Lobitos 15

Lobitos is one of Peru’s most famous spots.   It is a point, going into a large bay type beach.   While we were there, it was pretty small.  Mostly knee to waist high waves.   You could see the potential for it firing.   However, with the small waves, it was a little too mushy.  The town itself is really geared towards the surfing crowd.   Lots of hotels, and restaurants.  South of Lobitos is Baterias.   Bryan and Dave went out on our first day.   North of Lobitos is Piscina’s.   It looked really fun when we were checking it out, but the 18 people in the water kind of put a lid on us going out.   Lobitos, being in northern Peru, was super hot.  Luckily a dip in the ocean helped to cool you down.
