The magic is back!!

If you follow my blog, you know that last year was a little disappointing for Puemape.   Probably due to the floods, the bottom was not right.   Walled waves or short rides were pretty common last year.   Well I am happy to report that the Puemape Magic seems to be back.   Everyone seemed to get some good long waves this year.   They guys even got it to themselves one day, where Nick got a pretty incredible tube ride.   

Another great thing this year was the Drone.  Before we left for Peru, Tom asked the photographer Miquel if he needed anything from the states.   Miguel replied “A Drone”   Tom and I split the cost, bought it, and Tom brought it to Peru.   Miguel paid us back, and began to use it like the pro he is.   Check out some of the incredible footage from Puemape.

The fun did not last, because of Social Media.   One post, and the next day twelve people showed up.   No matter.   Good waves are back, the Puemape magic is back, the town is still the same sleepy fishing village, and I am itching to get my fill of waves next year.   Lesson learned, no social media posts during the trip.
