Setting up to be a nice one!
Another magical spot 2 hours south of Lima is Cerro Azul. My first time there was in 2010, but I had such a great time, I went back this year. I am glad I did. Not only is the atmosphere really cool, but the waves are super fun, and super long. Not too crowded, with plenty of waves to go around. I remember 3 super long lefts, that connected from the point, all the way to the beach. While I was there, they were setting up for a surf contest the next day. There was one little Peruvian kid, just tearing it up. He must have been getting ready for the contest.
