Cerro Azul 2010

My brother was the first one to come to Peru surfing.   He came with his friend Randy after he finished college in the early 1990’s.  Well this year he said “Lets go to Cerro Azul”  It all sounded good, until our taxi driver Raul said it was 2 hours south of Lima.   I was not feeling well, and 2 hours did not sound fun, but we went anyways.   I am glad we did.   Cerro Azul is a small town with a left point.  It was cool, because there was no long paddle out.  You went out at the point, and you were at the peak. It was a little crowded, but not like the states.  There were also restaurants right on the beach, with seafood and cold beer.  Pretty cool place, I want to go back.
