Too Fun, Too Uncrowded, Too World Class
Getting back to El Faro, is like hanging out with a friend you have not seen in a long time. The years have passed, but you are the friends you were years ago. This trip was my best El Faro session since I have started coming. The first half of the week was great. Uncrowded, fun, long waves, in which sets were head high. The Friday before we left, the swell was picking up. Mac Daddys were peeling off the tip of the point. Saw one Peruvian surfer, on what was easily a double overhead wave; that he rode from the upper point, all the way into the bay. Amazing sight to see. Caught some big waves, with incredibly long rides. Good clean fun.
